Free Desexing Day
Spey Day 2009
Over the course of 8 hours no less than 70 cats arrived at the doors of Manning Veterinary Hospital. Making this one of the most successful desexing days the Manning Valley has ever seen.
DID YOU KNOW?
A female cat can come into heat
as early as five months of age?
She can breed and bear kittens every two months.
She can breed more than six litters of kittens per year, each of those litters can contain five or more kittens?
That’s a staggering amount of more than thirty kittens per one female cat per year!
If a female cat continues undesexed and survives to breed for another seven plus years, that’s more
than two hundred and ten kittens for one cat alone that have to find homes.
A male cat can breed from the age of five months. If it survives it can breed continuously all year round and a female can breed to several sires in one heat, producing very mixed litters.
Please desex your pets before it’s too late.
Don’t add to the statistics.
Desexing makes for better pets!!
