'Boondi'

Boondi came to us with her owner complaining that she was vomiting a lot; initially we treated her for a common gastroenteritis but after 8 days she still has not perked up; one day she was good and the next day she was ill again; this wax and wane went on until one day she became really ill. We x-rayed her abdomen and could clearly see a foreign body in her stomach which would explain the symptoms seen. Soon after she was taken into our theatre to have her stomach opened and inspected; we removed a floating plastic ball. Boondi is now well into recovery and banned form playing with these round little ball again ... we wonder how long this will last.
